"CALM - Creative Practices for Adult Educators who Support Learners for a Better Mental Wellbeing"

The European Project "CALM - Creative Practices for Adult Educators who Support Learners for a Better Mental Wellbeing" aims to help Adult Educators recognize that creativity and the arts are an essential tool in education, enhancing the ability to adapt to an ever-changing world. The partners in this program will exchange good practices and tools, which are based on art, but also have an educational dimension. In this way, these tools will enrich the knowledge of adult educators and promote prosperity, significantly mitigating the negative psychological consequences of COVID-19.

Through the project the following will be realized:

1. Enhancing the knowledge and awareness of adult educators about creative and artistic tools that will be used in Adult Education.

2. Improving the professional skills and competencies of adult educators working with adult learners.

3. Improving the mental health and well-being of users, which has been exacerbated by the pandemic.

4. Enhancing the skills of the trainees, through art.

5. Awareness of mental health and the importance of well-being.

6. Exchange of good practices and tools related to artistic initiatives around mental health with an educational dimension.

The project is carried out with the support of the Erasmus + program of the European Union, has a duration of 24 months (March 2021 - March 2023) and is implemented by the following organisations:
