The 24-month project “Athena Begin: European Cooperation Against Domestic Violence towards People with Intellectual Disabilities” is funded by the EU Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (REC) and lasts from December 1st, 2019 to December 1st, 2021. Its aim is to create a series of educational materials for professionals that offer support to people with disabilities, who have experienced incidents of abuse, domestic violence and gender-based violence (DV/G-BV).
